The Board of Directors may appoint legal counsel to represent the District and to advise the Board and administration in carrying out their duties with respect to the numerous legal issues confronting the District.
The Board President, the Superintendent, the Board Secretary, and the Board Treasurer shall have the authority to contact the District's legal counsel on behalf of the District when it is deemed necessary. The necessity of the contact shall be determined by the President, by the Superintendent, by the Board Secretary or by the Board Treasurer. Other District officials and employees may contact the District's legal counsel with consent of the Board President or of the Superintendent.
