SUPERVISORS--POSITIONS, QUALIFICATIONS,
RECRUITMENT, APPOINTMENT
The Board of Directors shall appoint individuals to serve as:
Director of Business Services
Director of Human Resources
Director of Buildings and Grounds
Director of Food Services
Director of Transportation
Director of Technology and Information Systems
The Board of Directors shall appoint such supervisors upon recommendation of the Superintendent. In selecting a supervisor, the Superintendent and Board shall follow the District policies on equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
Each supervisor shall have demonstrated exemplary leadership abilities and shall exhibit the knowledge and ability to accomplish the duties of the job description. The Superintendent shall recommend a supervisor based upon such additional qualifications and qualities as may be determined from time to time by the Board and/or by the Superintendent as being necessary to accomplish the District's educational philosophy, goals and objectives.

SUPERVISORS--FUNCTIONS, DUTIES
The supervisors, under the direction of the Superintendent and pursuant to policies of the Board of Directors, shall be responsible for the leadership, management and operation of the program or functions assigned and as more specifically set forth in written job descriptions.
It shall be the responsibility of the supervisors to uphold the policies of the Board, to provide a positive, cooperative environment with other personnel in the District, and to share his/her expertise under the administrative team and management team concept.

SUPERVISORS--CONTRACTS, TERM
Supervisors shall be employed for a term of one year. The term and number of days of service shall be specified in the written employment contract.
The Board reserves the right not to renew a contract with a supervisor for any reason. The Board also reserves the right to terminate employment of a supervisor during the one-year term of employment for any reason upon fourteen (14) calendar days' notice or immediately for cause.
If a supervisor wishes to resign from a contract, the supervisor must comply with Board policies on resignation.

SUPERVISORS--SALARY AND BENEFITS
The Board retains discretion to set the salary of each supervisor on an annual basis, which amount shall then be specified in the employment contract.
The supervisors shall have such benefits as specified in Series 400 of Board policy and such additional benefits as may be specified in the contract of employment.
